PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that shoes such as a low shoe or boot lose their shapes and are deformed during unused time, the boot is turned down and loses it's shape in a tube-like section owing to softness of the section, and maintenance is troublesome due to an offensive odor and due to mold and pathogenic bacteria generated owing to stagnated air in the inner part on the insole even during the keeping period. SOLUTION: The shape retention gadget for shoes is structured with a transparent plastic bladder body forming an external shape corresponding to an inside wall surface shape of the shoes when swelled out, and is inserted into the shoes. A photocatalystic layer is formed on the surface of the transparent plastic bladder body, and antibacterial and deodorizing effects are actualized by irradiation of sunlight or fluorescent light.
