SUBSTANCE: iodine is extracted by treatment of preliminary acidified hydromineral raw with air containing ozone as an initiating agent of oxidation in the presence of iron (II) salt. Ozone concentration in air is 0.5-1.1 mg/l. Oxidation degree of method is 70-95% in combination with high selectivity of process that ensures to extract iodine from drilling waters with low concentrations of iodide.
