PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a bearing effect in a stable state over a long period by preventing the penetration of dust between curved faces playing an important part for bearing a superstructure, in a movement such as expansion and contraction thereof, while following the movement. SOLUTION: This bearing device comprises a bearing pressure member 4 arranged on the lower part of an upper support member 3 fixed to the superstructure 1 so as to slidably bean the relative lateral movement of the upper support member 3 and a lower support member 5 for bearing the bearing pressure member 4. A dust preventive cylindrical body 10 made of an elastic material is arranged extending over the circumferential surface 8 of the bearing pressure member 4 and the circumferential surface 9 of the lower support member 5 so as to cover the mutual fitting part of the curved face 6 of the bearing pressure member 4 and the curved face 7 of the lower support member 5. The upper part of the cylindrical body 10 is fixed to the bearing pressure member 4, and the lower part thereof is fixed to the lower support member 4.
