PURPOSE: A method is provided which manufactures a curved pipe simply and efficiently and reduces manufacturing cost without forcibly bending a straight circular pipe into a curved shape. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing a curved pipe comprises a die manufacturing step of manufacturing each dies on which left and right half shaped cavities according to a length direction of the curved pipe(1) are formed; a compression forming step of compression forming metal plates into half pipes(1a,1b) of the left and right half shapes according to a length direction of the curved pipe(1) using the dies manufactured in the die manufacturing step; a forming step of forming a pipe by butt welding the half pipes the left and right half pipes(1a,1b) manufactured in the compression forming step; a grinding step of grinding the welding portion welded in the forming step so that the welding portion has the same radius of curvature as other parts; and a polishing step of polishing the ground part so that the ground part displays the same gloss as other parts.
