PURPOSE: A structure for opening and closing a dust collecting cover is provided to open and close easily the dust collecting cover by forming a protrusion at the dust collecting cover and forming an elastic body capable of attaching and detaching the protrusion at one side of a cleaner body. CONSTITUTION: A structure for opening and closing a dust collecting cover comprises an elastic body(17) protruded convexly at one side of a cleaner body(10), a protrusion(16) formed at an inside of the dust collecting cover(12) capable of attaching and detaching from the elastic body. A plurality of holes(17a) is formed at a central portion of the elastic body in a longitudinal direction, so that the protrusion is detached easily and smoothly. The protrusion has a restoring force in which the central portion is returned in an origin state if the protrusion departs from the elastic body(17).
