PURPOSE: A fusion plating method for precious metal tiles is provided to save manufacturing costs and express deluxe atmosphere by plating tiles and stone plates with precious metals(Au, Ag, Pt, etc.) through fusion process. CONSTITUTION: The precious metal tiles are manufactured by the following steps of: preparing a precious metal solution by mixing 46.5-64.52wt.% of Ag(or Au) powder, 12.9-23.26wt.% of water, 6.98-9.68wt.% of low temperature flux, and 12.9-23.26 wt.% of screen oil or 58.82-79.62wt.% of Ag(or Au) paste, 15.39-29.41wt.% of diluting agent, and 7.69-11.77wt.% of low temperature flux; spreading the precious metal solution over conventional tiles; preheating at 100-600deg.C for 30-45min to evaporate solvents such as water and diluting agent, and screen oil, and to melt low temperature flux for bonding of metal particles and tiles arising from permeation into the surface of tile and metal particles; sintering at 800-100deg.C for 20-30min to fuse metal particles and spread molten metal over the layer of flux; cooling at 250-750deg.C for 30-45min; coating cooled tiles with polish-resistant agent and sintering at 700-900deg.C for 20-30min; and polishing.
