PURPOSE: A container for instant foods is provided to make parts of the outer circumference of a lid hand-holdable and easily peeled off when the lid bonded to flanges of a container body is peeled off. CONSTITUTION: An extracting portion(8) having an extracting groove(10) inward and outward of a container body is installed within parts of the circumferential direction of a flange(6). The entire circumference or parts of the circumferential direction of the outer circumferential portion(61) of the flange(6) of the extracting portion(8) deviates more inward than the outer circumferential portion(61) of other flanges(6). Parts(2a) of the outer circumference of the lid(2) protrude outward from the deviating element of the outer circumferential portion(61) of the flange(6).
