PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hearing aid processor for portable radio apparatus and a portable radio apparatus which improves the articulation of the voice from a communication party. SOLUTION: The hearing aid processor for portable radio apparatus such as PHS telephone and portable telephones has a limiter amplifier 16 having a controlled gain so that input voice signals are clipped at levels corresponding to 25% ±5% of their maximum amplitudes.
