PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily control the white balance of each color image signal obtained at the time of performing bracketing photographing. SOLUTION: When a shutter button is pressed down in a bracketing mode (step S36), an object is consecutively and respectively photographed at an exposure value lower than a proper exposure value, the proper exposure value and an exposure value higher than the proper exposure value, and R, G and B signals obtained by the respective photographing are once stored in a memory (step S38, S40 and S42). A signal white balance correction value is next calculated on the basis of the R, G and B signals for the three photographs (step S44). The R, G and B signals for the three photographs are respectively subjected to white balance control based on the white balance correction value (step S46). |
