PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve an electric connection property and a waterproofing property of a connection part of an electric wire and a terminal. SOLUTION: A core wire part and an insulation cover are made to closely contact to the inner periphery surface of an electric wire connection part 32, by caulking an electric wire connection part 32 ranging over whole part in the direction of diameter, in a state of inserting a core part 3 of an electric wire 2 and an insulation cover 4 into the almost cylinder-shaped electric wire connection part 32 of a terminal. The electric wire connection part 32 has an insertion hole with small diameter for the core part 3, and an insertion hole with large diameter for the insulation cover 4. A waterproofing seal or a waterproofing seal member 33 is arranged inside the electric wire connection part 32 in a shape of ring, and the outer peripheral part of the insulation cover 4 is made to closely contact to the waterproofing seal or the waterproofing seal member 33. The electric wire connection part 32 has a peripheral groove 34 in which, the elastic waterproofing seal member 33 is mounted, and the waterproofing seal member is compressed in the peripheral groove. The caulking is carried out by rotary swaging machine.
