PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slicing mechanism for a compressor capable of effectively reducing the noise and the vibration. SOLUTION: In this compressor forming a compression chamber 9 by a front head 6 and a rear head 7 mounted on both end faces of a cylinder block 5, a silencing chamber 17 faced to the end face of the cylinder block 5 is formed on the front head 6, and a linear passage 18 for communicating the silencing chamber 17 and the compression chamber 19 is formed on the cylinder block 5. The pulsation of a gas compressed in the compression chamber 9 is directly guided to the silencing chamber 17 through the linear passage 18, the silencing effect of the silencing chamber 17 can be effectively displayed, and the noise and the vibration of the compressor can be effectively reduced.
