PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of the base of equipment, capable of preventing occurrence of faults caused by collision at moving, by setting constitution where a stand is not projected from the base of the equipment, such as an image forming device or the like. SOLUTION: A recessed part 10 is formed on the base 2 of the equipment to be installed 1 of a copying machine or the like by drawing. By attaching a fixing nut 9 to the recessed part 10, the stand 5 is attached. The lower ends of a pan 6 and a stand screw 7, constituting the stand 5, are not projected downward from the base 2. Therefore, even if the equipment 1 is moved on a floor surface 3, damage by collision with obstruction will not occur.
