LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY AND DEVICE FOR MOUNTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilizing an incidental light source by a light diffusion function layer formed between the transparent electrodes on the liquid crystal material side of substrates and electrodes for driving the liquid crystal. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal display is constituted to have the light diffusion function layer <3.> consisting of an organic resin <3-1.> and microspheres or microblanks <3-2.> between the substrate <1.> in the proximity to at least one incidental light source <5.> and the transparent electrodes or the electrodes <2.> for driving the liquid crystals. The liquid crystal display device can also be provided between the substrate different from the incidental light source and the transparent electrodes or the electrodes for driving the liquid crystal.
