PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device which eliminates mismatching of images between both of the cameras occurring by parallax between two cameras which pick up an image catching electromagnetic waves of two mutually different wavelength bands, respectively, and convert it to a video signal. SOLUTION: The image pickup device comprises an optical system for reflecting the electromagnetic wave of one of the wave length bands and transmitting the electromagnetic wave of the other wave length band, a first camera apparatus having a camera position adjusting part and a zoom lens in addition to a first camera which picks up the image catching the reflected electromagnetic wave and converts it to a video signal, a second camera apparatus having a camera position adjusting part and a zoom lens in addition to a second camera which catches transmitted electromagnetic wave and converts it to a video signal, a camera case for mounting the first camera apparatus and the second camera apparatus, and an image inverter for inverting the image of the video signal of the first camera vertically.
