<p>Disclosed are a tent pole having a metal layer, and a method for manufacturing the same. The pole comprises a fiber-reinforced core formed by impregnating clustered textile yarns with a thermosetting resin, a coating layer applied on a circumference of the fiber-reinforced core, a metal layer formed on a circumference of the coating layer through a vacuum deposition process, and a resin layer formed on a circumference of the metal layer. The metal layer is deposited on a fabric or a non-woven fabric with a superior affinity under a vacuum condition. The fabric or non-woven fabric is cured together with a clustered textile impregnated with the thermosetting resin prior to the curing of the resin, with the clustered textile enclosed with the fabric or non-woven fabric, so that the metal layer can be formed on the circumference of the fiber-reinforced core without peeling of the metal layer.</p> |
