PURPOSE: An application and method for displaying information using flash data and a recording medium having an application program thereof are provided to supply an active information displaying method capable of expressing an image of a flash at an exterior of a web browser using an SDK(Software Development Kit) of a Macromedia flash-player and the Visual C++ 6.0. CONSTITUTION: It is judged whether an information display application(xFlash) is installed in a terminal by an object tag out of a driving script inserted in a web page on a web site for receiving specific information(310). In the case that the information display application(xFlash) is not installed, a security alarm window is displayed(320). An installation or not is confirmed to a user. If the user agrees to the installation, the information display application(xFlash) is installed(330). An instance of the installed information display application(xFlash) is created(340). A path(URL) of a flash file, which is information to be displayed, is set a "LoadMovie" method of the driving script(350). The information display application is executed(360). If the information display is terminated(370,xFlash Connected=false), the instance of the installed information display application(xFlash) is removed.
