PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing phytoene and phytofluene, together with retinol to maintain the activity of retinol for a long period of time and increase the stability of a product is provided. Therefore, the composition has an excellent wrinkle improving effect and skin cosmetic effect. CONSTITUTION: This cosmetic composition contains 0.001 to 10.0% by weight of retinol and 0.001 to 5.0% by weight of each phytoene and phytofluene, based on the total weight of the composition. The retinol, phytoene and phytofluene are added to a basic cosmetic selected from skin lotion, astringent, lotion, eye cream, massage cream, cleansing cream, cleansing foam, cleansing water, powder, essence and pack.
