PURPOSE: An order search service method of the geographic information using the Internet is provided to increase availability by making the geographic information data keep the same area, the similar preciseness and the accuracy and to carry out the integrated search and service of the data capable of having the mutual operation. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of connecting to a data server connected to a geographic information database by using the Internet(S1), searching the target area on a geographic information search window(S2), and a user selecting the area on a searched window by a coordinates system(S3). The geographic information data status for the area selected by the user is displayed on a screen by the database(S4). A data format and a display method are set up(S5) and the simple or overlapped geographic information is displayed by the set data format and the display method(S7). The user decides and buys the geographic information data from the displayed geographic information data(S9,S10).
