PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound playing instrument which can easily create a change pattern linked with performance tempo. SOLUTION: The musical sound playing instrument has two or more sounding channels, a first change pattern generation means which generates a first change pattern common to two or more sounding channels by combining two or more note lengths, a lower limit change means which can change a lower limit of the parameter about the sound production of the first change pattern without changing an upper limit, a second change pattern generation means which generates respectively different second change pattern at each of at least two different channels of two or more sounding channels by combining two or more note lengths, a third change pattern generation means which synthesizes the altered change pattern and the second change pattern, and generates a third change pattern, and an effect imparting means which gives an effect to the musical sound signals on the basis of the above third change pattern. |
