PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bettered envelope for a direct mail which is in compliance with the Postal Law is constituted so as to be able to apply to an automatic enclosure-sealing machine, an inserter machine, is easily unsealed by a receiver of this envelope for a direct mail and can improve an unsealing rate and a response rate for the direct mail. SOLUTION: This envelope is provided with a sealing/unsealing part and a sticking part 2 for sealing in an inner/back face direction when folding and sealing is conducted and is equipped with a sealing/unsealing piece 5 which becomes a sealing/unsealing part, a cut-off part 7 in which a cut line 6 becoming a separation line when this sealing/unsealing piece 5 is folded and sealed, the sticking part 2 is stuck and unsealed is provided, and a pinching piece 8 for unsealing which is provided at either one end of the left and right sealing/ unsealing piece 5.
