PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to improve purity by preventing reflection of light from a phosphor layer at a bus electrode. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises a front plate(10), common sustain electrodes(X) and scan sustain electrodes(Y) on the front plate(10), a rear plate(20), and many address electrode(X) and R,G,B phosphor layer(23) on the rear plate(20). The sustain electrode includes transparent ITO electrodes(Xa,Ya) and metal bus electrodes(Xb,Yb). A black matrix layer(B) is formed between the transparent ITO electrodes and the metal bus electrodes(Xb,Yb) by mixture of RU2O and PbO, Carbon group, or conductive material. A light absorbing part(30) is formed on one side surface of each bus electrode(Xb,Yb) viewing inside of a cell(C) for absorbing light from a phosphor layer(23) in the cell(C). |
