PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner, capable of obtaining significant improvement in air-supplying capability by increasing the strength of a fan guard, enlarging a ventilating area in an air outlet and suppressing ventilating resistance. SOLUTION: The air conditioner comprises an outdoor heat exchanger 14 and an indoor heat exchanger 15 disposed in a housing 10, the air outlet 18 provided at the housing 10, and the fan guard 20 mounted in the outlet and integrally molded by using synthetic resin. The fan guard has a plurality of circular beams 4 provided at a prescribed pitch in a concentric circle state, and a plurality of radial beams 5, provided radially over the outermost periphery from the center of the circular beams crossed with the circular beams. The prescribed radial beams are formed, cut out at the end facing opposite the center of the circular beams. |
