PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a traditional problem peculiar to a cylindrical oxygen sensor device that a firing shrinkage difference in material is apt to concentrate on the top of the cylindrical tube as a residual strain to produce a crack on the top end when creating a cylindrical lamination looped with ceramic green sheet by simultaneous burning. SOLUTION: The heater-embedded oxygen sensor device is provided with at least one pair of sensor electrodes formed on both opposite locations of inner and outer surface for an one-end-sealed cylindrical tube made of zirconia solid electrolyte, and is integrally-equipped with a heating element-buried insulating layer formed on the surface of the cylindrical tube, allowing the sealed end section of the cylindrical tube to be projected from the end of the insulating layer by 1-3 mm. |
