SCREENING METHOD FOR AGENT REGULATING CELL DIVISION AND ANTICANCER DRUG USING G-PROTEIN COUPLED RECEPTOR GENE

PURPOSE: Provided are a screening method for an agent regulating cell division and an anticancer drug using a G-protein coupled receptor gene. CONSTITUTION: The detection method of an agent regulating cell division comprises the steps of: transforming a fission yeast with a recombinant vector of stm1 gene or its domain; culturing transformant in a medium containing thymine for 12 hours then in a thymine free medium sequentially to convert the transformant capable of expressing a protein; treating the cultured medium with chemicals desired to be investigated or natural extract and culturing it for 12 hours; inoculating a partial culture solution into a new medium containing chemicals or natural extracts at O.D600 of 0.1, followed by culturing and for 12-36 hours; and observing the conversion of diploid into monoploid.
