PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-pressure fuel pump control device for a cylinder injection engine improvable in control stability with fuel pressure rapidly optimized by driving an actuator within the control effective range of the high- pressure fuel pump. SOLUTION: In this high-pressure fuel pump control device for a cylinder injection engine having a fuel injection valve provided at a cylinder, and the high-pressure fuel pump for force-feeding fuel to the fuel injection valve, the high-pressure fuel pump has a pressure chamber; an inlet valve and a discharge valve provided in the pressure chamber; a plunger for pressurizing the fuel in the pressure chamber; and an actuator for operating the inlet valve. The control device has a means for computing a driving signal for the actuator to adjust the discharge quantity or pressure of the high-pressure fuel pump, and the means for computing the driving signal has a means for limiting the output timing of the driving signal for the actuator within a specified phase range. |
