PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a radiators, while maintaining the performance level of a Rankine cycle device and fully cooling the heated part of the internal combustion engine with the water which is a liquid phase. SOLUTION: In the Rankine cycle device for the internal combustion engine comprising an evaporator 3 evaporating steam, an expander 4 for converting thermal energy into mechanical energy, a condenser 5 for cooling the steam exhaust from the expander 4 and returning to water, a tank 6 for storing the water from the condenser 5 and feeding pumps 7, 8 for pressurizing the water in the tank 6 and feeding into the evaporator 3, the water in the tank 6 is fed into a distribution valve 106 via a water jacket 105 of the internal combustion engine 1 using a low-pressure pump 7, a part of the water distributed with the distribution valve 106 is additionally pressurized with a high-pressure pump 8 into the evaporator 3 and the other part of the water distributed with the distribution valve 106 is discharged into the tank 6, after heat radiation in an accessory 110, such as a heater for car cabin.
