PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make obtainable various information other than those based on a detecting means installed at a reel easily, in a reel for fishing, having a displaying part. SOLUTION: This electric powered reel mounted on a fishing rod is equipped with a reel main body 1, a spool 10, a displaying device 4, a communication- controlling part 50, a communication I/F 51 and a main controlling part 30. The reel main body 1 is to be installed on the fishing rod. The spool 10 is mounted on the reel main body 1 as freely rotatable and is used for winding a line. The displaying device 4 is mounted on the reel main body and can display various information. The communication I/F can be connected with a cellular phone 52 which can collect information from outside. The communication controlling part 50 and the main controlling part 30 are for displaying the information obtained from the cellular phone on the displaying device 4.
