PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a novel compound excellent in testosterone 5α-reductase- inhibiting action and androgen receptor binding-inhibiting action, effective for preventing depilation and in hair generating and growing effects and excellent in safety. SOLUTION: A testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor and/or an androgen receptor binding inhibitor relating to this invention are obtained by using one species or two or more species of Chiraito, preferably its above-ground part, Jamane mandro, preferably its bark, Timur, preferably its fruit, Pashanbhed, preferably its root and Padamchal, preferably its root, extracting them with various solvents such as water, ethanol, acetone, glycerol and the like. Further, various hair cosmetics such as a hair tonic, a hair shampoo, a lotion and the like and skin cosmetics are obtained by using the testosterone 5α-reductase inhibitor or the androgen receptor binding inhibitor. |
