PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an absorbent product by which the absorbent product can be stably transferred under a compactly triply-folded state. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method includes a folding back process S0, a first folding process S1 and a second folding process S2. In this case, in the folding back process S0, a first side section 900 and a second side section 910 in the lateral direction of this absorbent product 1 are respectively folded back inward. In the first folding process S1, a first section 860 is superposed on an intermediate section 862 of the absorbent product 1 by folding back the first section 860 including one end section 800 of the absorbent product 1. In the second folding process S2, a second section 864 including the other end section 810 is folded back. At the same time, the first end section of the first section 860 is folded back together with the second section 864 accompanying the folding back of the second section 864, and thus, the second section 864 is superposed on the first section 860 of the absorbent product 1.
