PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust removing and deodorizing filter, which is capable of preventing rising of initial resistance to gas flow and lowering of its dust collecting performance caused by fine particles, being used for a long period of time and deodorizing even when it is exposed to a high concentration gas without lowering the dust removing performance. SOLUTION: The dust removing and deodorizing filter is constituted of a deodorizing filter section 10 containing a catalyst which functions at ordinary temperature and an adsorbing material and a dust removing filter section 20 which is provided as a pre-filter being a body different from the deodorizing filter section 10 and composed of two layers of nonwoven cloths 21 and 22 formed from fibers having different diameters. In the dust removing filter section 20, the average diameter of the first nonwoven cloth layer 21 situated on the upstream side of air is made to be 30 to 40 μm and the average diameter of the second nonwoven cloth layer 22 situated at the downstream side is made to be 0.5 to 10 μm. |
