PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishfinder having a compacted shape, and a transceiver with heightened stability, and readily usable on a ship. SOLUTION: This fishfinder can be compacted by installing a float 7 having a cord 6 having one terminal connected to an electric equipment part housed in a nearly cylindrical main body 4 having a concave groove 1 for winding the cord 6, formed at the outer periphery part, and the other terminal connected to a transceiver 5, passed through the float 7 so as to be freely engaged, and holding the transceiver 5 at a prescribed position in water, and constituting the float 7 so as to be housed in a float-housing part 13 formed at the bottom part of the main body 4, and the transceiver 5 so as to be housed in a transceiver-housing part 14 formed at the bottom part of the float 7.
