PURPOSE: An apparatus for controlling width of weir of sedimentation reservoir is provided, which is characterized in that width of weir is controlled according to water level. So sedimentation efficiency is improved, compared with conventional sedimentation reservoir installed weir. CONSTITUTION: Provided weir comprises the following parts: a sliding groove formed horizontally at a projection(132) of the weir(130); a movable plate, connected with another movable plate by a link part(22), moving around a hinge pin; a solenoid valve(31) turning on/off by a water level sensor(35) of a wastewater supplying pipe(110); a horizontal cylinder(30) for controlling moving angle of the movable plate; and a plate(40), slantingly installed at the interior wall of the weir(130), for preventing adhesion of suspended solid on the inner wall of the weir(130).
