PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and safely construct a remote monitoring system. SOLUTION: This system is equipped with a receiving means 108 which receives state data showing the state of an object to be monitored through a mobile communication network from a mobile terminal, an authenticating means 116 which authenticates the identification number and/or IP address of a mobile terminal, and a storage means 120 which stores the state data from the mobile terminal in a predetermined segment of a database when the mobile terminal is authenticated by the authenticating means, so the easy and safe authentication can be performed with the identification number and/or IP address. Further, the system is equipped with a dividing means 104 which divides network segments by objects to be monitored and the segments of the database 120 are divided by network segments, so the safety and secrecy can be increased by the objects to be monitored.
