PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant thermoplastic resin composition having excellent flame resistance. SOLUTION: This flam-retardant thermoplastic resin composition has far advanced high-level flame resistance and excellent impact resistance and is obtained by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin containing >=50 wt.% one or more kinds selected from thermoplastic polyester-based resins, polyphenylene ether-based resins and thermoplastic polyamide-based resins, with a combination of (B) 0.5-30 pt(s). wt. silicon resin having a T unit or a Q unit and (C) 0.5-40 pt(s).wt. condensed polycyclic aromatic resin.
