PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer fixing member having a good toner transfer rate and good wear and chemical resistances. SOLUTION: The transfer fixing member 7 has a substrate 14, optionally, a middle layer 15 and an outer layer 16 situated thereon. The outer layer 16 has a haloelastomer consisting essentially of monomers selected from the group comprising halogenated monomers, polyorganosiloxane monomers and mixtures of those and the substrate 14 is fitted with a heating member.
