PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a optical electrode using a polymer substrate, which has photoelectric conversion efficiency of practical use level, and to provide a color- sensitizing type photochemical cell using the optical electrode concerned. SOLUTION: The optical electrode contains an optical semiconductor composite film, which is formed of a porosity high polymer film, which has holes continued to the outside, held in an optical semiconductor, and a transparent electrical conductive layer, which is laminated over the whole surface of the optical semiconductor compound film. It is desirable that, while the above optical semiconductor is held in the holes, it be held so that the laminating of the optical semiconductor layer is carried out over the whole surface of the porosity high polymer film, and the electrical conductive layer is laminated on the porosity high polymer film. By using an ePTFE as the porous high polymer film, the optical semiconductor compound film can be baked at 200 deg.C or higher. |
