<p>More various services are provided by using an electronic program guide (EPG) and the use of such services is roused. When an EPG key of a remote controller is pressed, information concerning the EPG stored in a RAM is outputted to an image display (2). The EPG (50) is displayed in the upper part, 4/5 of the whole screen of the image display (2), and service information is displayed in the lower box (60), remaining 1/5 of the whole screen. In the box (60), icons of a questionnaire, an advertisement, a commodity sale, and a search service are displayed. When the user selects a desired one of the services, the user can enjoy the service and receives the point(s) preset for each service. Therefore the use of services are roused.</p> |
