PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate opening and closing of a door 25 of a refrigerator. SOLUTION: An electromagnet 75 is embedded in an opening edge 30 of an opening formed in the front of the refrigerator, and a member 76 to be magnetically energized made of iron is embedded in the door 25. When the door 25 is closed, the member 76 to be magnetically energized receives the magnetic force of the electromagnet 75 and performs holding in a closed state of an opening by the door 25. Further, by pressing a door switch, energization to the electromagnet 75 is cut off and the door 25 is brought into a free state. This constitution facilitates opening and closing of the door 25.
