MAP GUIDANCE VIDEO SYSTEM

摘要

A map guidance video system for displaying such a scene as the user would view while passing along a road on a map screen in synchronism with the speed, enabling the user to virtually conduct a business field investigation or a sightseeing tour without actually going to the site. A map route searching unit (9) of the map guidance video system searches for the data on a route to a selected destination on the map screen and sends the route data to a video search unit (13). On the basis of the route data, the video search unit (13) searches for a road passage vision video file corresponding to the route data from a video data storing unit (14) and sends the file to a video reproduction unit (12). The file is be reproduced and displayed on a user terminal (1).
