<p>A door device for an elevator capable of increasing the life of a door belt and guarding against an increase in mass of car doors without increasing the width of a rail frame, wherein a door motor (1) comprises a rotating shaft disposed in the direction generally orthogonal to a plane along the surfaces of the car doors (12) and (13), the length of the rotating shaft is set shorter than a distance (W) between the platform side end part of a sill (19) and the car side end part of the rail frame (5), the door motor (1) is disposed within the width of the rail frame (5), and the diameter of a drive pulley (2) installed on the rotating shaft of the door motor (1) is set independently of the distance (W).</p> |
