<p>A monoclonal antibody whereby a normal prion can be distinguished from an abnormal prion. This anti-abnormal prion monoclonal antibody reacts with an abnormal prion but substantially not with a normal prion. This antibody can be obtained by using an immunogen which has a peptide containing a domain composed of a plural number of non-consecutive domains in the primary amino acid sequence of an abnormal prion connected to each other.</p> |
