PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low lift truck allowing smooth cargo conveying work. SOLUTION: In this low lift truck having a lifting/lowering carriage, the lifting/lowering carriage is constructed of an elevating base arranged in a truck body movably upward/downward and a movable base arranged on the elevating base movably in the horizontally direction. On the truck body, a steering wheel operated rotationally by an operator and a transmission mechanism converting the rotational motion of the steering wheel into linear motion and transmitting it to the movable base are arranged, and according to the steering wheel operation by the operator, the movable base can be moved horizontally on the elevating base.
