PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color-rich gorgeous earthen ware which directly imparts a natural color through applying an inlay technique to the decoration of the earthen ware. SOLUTION: This decorated earthen ware is characterized in that different kinds of compounded clay (2), (3), (4) and (5) are inlaid in the surface of the earthen ware according to a design and are developed into desired colors respectively after glost firing.
