PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw tea leaf-receiving container which can automatically control the conveying speed of an air-permeable conveyer in response to the amount of the raw tea leaves at a place near to the discharge port of a leaf- receiving box, thereby improving the workability, and can always accurately control the amount of the conveyed raw tea leaves. SOLUTION: This raw leaf-receiving container comprises a receiving box 1 whose upper portion is opened and which has a space for receiving the raw tea leaves, an air-permeable conveyer 2 for conveying the raw tea leaves to the discharge port 1e of the receiving box 1, and air-blowing fans 8 for blowing air from the lower side of the air-permeable conveyer 2 to the receiving space, and is characterized by disposing an optoelectronic switch for detecting the height of the raw tea leaves at a place near to the discharge port 1e of the receiving box 1 and an automatic speed change board 6 for controlling the conveying speed of the air-permeable conveyer 2 on the basis of the detection of the optoelectronic switch 3.
