Extraction device comprises a cylindrical extraction container (8) for receiving a charge (14) of a substance mixture, a feed line (5) for an extraction fluid, and a removal line (6) for the extraction fluid enriched with dissolved material. The feed line is connected to a feed device (22) which extends over a part of the axial length of the extraction container and has flow openings (24) for forming flow paths running across the longitudinal extension of the container. An independent claim is also included for an extraction process. Preferred Features: The feed device comprises a feed pipe extending over a part of the axial length of the container through the feed pipe whose walls are permeable for the extraction fluid. A collecting device (18) is arranged in the extraction container for collecting extraction fluid enriched with dissolved material and is connected with the removal line.
