<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device of high operability by enabling an operator to operate an information processor like a personal computer even in the case that a mouse pointer following the movement of his or her hand cannot be displayed on a display device. SOLUTION: The interface device is provided with an object detection part 4 which detects a specific object from a moving picture picked up by a camera 2, a movement direction recognition part 5 which recognizes the movement direction of the object detected by the object detection part 4, and a command output part 6 which outputs a command corresponding to the movement direction recognized by the movement direction recognition part 5 to an information processing system. Further, the device is provided with a position information output part 7 which detects the position of the object detected by the object detection part 4 and reports this detection result as position information to the operator who operates the information processing system.</p> |
