PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve a sound output function at low cost in various equipment mounted with an PLC device. SOLUTION: This PLC device 10 is equipped with an IO module 11 for signal input, a sound data storage part 13 which stores sound data, and a PLC body part 12 which reads the sound data out of the sound data storage part 13 according to a signal inputted to the IO module or a signal generated in a program processing stage. The sound data read out by the PLC body part 12 are outputted from a sound signal output part 14. The sound signal output part 14 can be connected to a speaker 20.
