PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inexpensive alicyclic dissolution inhibitory compound having high performance as a dissolution inhibitor (affording a clearer contrast) and high adhesion to a substrate. SOLUTION: This compound is a trans-8,9-bis(t-butoxycarbonyl) tricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]dec-3(4)-ene compound or trans-8,9-bis(t-butoxycarbonyl) tricyclo[5.2.1.02,6] decane compound of the general formula 1 obtained by reaction of a 8,9-dicarboxytricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]dec-3(4)-ene compound or trans-8,9- dicarboxytricyclo[5.2.1.02,6]decane compound with isobutene in the presence of an acid catalyst, respectively (in the general formulas 1 and 2, the broken line represents a single or double bond; and n is an integer of 0-3). The other objective method for producing the compound the general formula 1 is provided as described above. |
