PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an embedded member for a hollow concrete slab and a base board for the same, which are for use in forming the concrete slab excellent in sound insulating properties. SOLUTION: The embedded member 1 for the hollow concrete slab is vertically divided into a plurality of pieces except for mounting-side second joint portions 6, upper side joint portions 7, etc. Further, the embedded member 1 for the hollow concrete slab thus constructed is rigidly mounted on a concrete base board 3, to thereby form the base board 2 for the hollow concrete slab.
