PURPOSE: To provide a folding type portable communication terminal equipment capable of switching off a power source of an equipment body in a state in which a body case and a cover case are folded. CONSTITUTION: The folding type portable communication terminal equipment comprises the cover case openably and closably coupled to the body case, and an up key 13 and a down key 14 provided on one side of the body case. The terminal equipment further comprises a secondary battery, a power supply switch 19 and a control circuit 16. The control circuit 16 switches on and off of the switch 19 when the key 13 and the key 14 are simultaneously depressed for a prescribed time or more. Thus, supplying of the power from the battery to a terminal equipment body is started or stopped, and on or off of the power source of the equipment body is switched. |
